Teresa Little

My name is Teresa Little and I am a graduate of ASA – The College for Excellence. I achieved my Associate Degree in Medical Assisting (Pharmacy Technology) program. Currently, I work as a Pharmacy Technician at Zitomer Pharmacy.

I chose this field of study because of my desire to learn about different medications and their uses. Although I encountered major challenges throughout my studies, I still managed to pass all my classes. ASA instructors made the learning process a whole lot easier!

The Career Services Department assisted me in obtaining my externship at Zitomer. Due to my performance and willingness to learn, I was offered a full time position. I would like to personally thank Dr. Velencia, Dr. Frimet, and Mr. Newman for their relentless efforts at instructional enlightenment.

The best advice I can offer future graduates of ASA is to always remember that nothing comes easy in life. You must educate and prepare yourself fundamentally in order to be successful in your endeavors. Opportunities will present themselves because you have taken the proper steps. ASA is an excellent first step in preparing yourself for the challenges the future will bring.
