I graduated with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice in 2008. At present, I hold a position as an Activity Specialist at the Catholic Charities, and it is a great honor for me. Here, I have the opportunity to display my leadership skills, which gives me an edge to serve as a positive role model to the young generation. I strongly feel that ASA has prepared me well to achieve my current status. What I enjoy most about the program is the information and the assistance that the Career Services Department has provided to me in order to accomplish my goals. I do keep in contact with the Career Services and Alumni Affairs Department, so that I can mentor other students who need motivation and guidance. One of my goals for the future is to build a Charter School for boys, ages 7-12, where responsibility, discipline, respect, and commitment will be learned through various engaging activities and events.
I would like to give this advice to all students: having a positive vision will enable you to accomplish literally everything!
