Nursing Program Effectiveness Data:

The New York Office of Professions requires annual reporting of NCLEX pass rates, program retention rates, program graduation rates, and program placement rates.

Retention and Placement Rate data is calculated utilizing ASA in-house formula.

First time NCLEX-RN exam takers pass rates:

• 2019 was 78.57%
• 2020 was 69.70%
• 2021 was 64.29%

Retention Rate (NOTE: AAS graduates completed the program in 150% of program length)

• 2019 was 73.8%
• 2020 was 78.6%

Placement Rate

• July 2019 – June 2020 Award Year was 86 %
