Welcome to the 2020 Summer Semester!

All of you are probably a bit apprehensive, concerned, or even scared.  You are not alone.  We all are.  We are indeed living in extraordinarily challenging times.  I sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are continuing to successfully navigate and adapt to the new norms. The good news is that the pandemic appears to have eased in NY and the situation will soon be back to normal.  However, it will not be soon enough to open our on-ground NY campuses for the summer semester.  For the summer semester, we have no choice but to continue to provide our educational services via online. However, the State of New York has begun to partially lift the lock down requirements.  Therefore, we expect to be on-ground for the Fall semester.

For those of you returning to ASA College: WELCOME BACK!  We are glad to have you back as you continue on your path to the ultimate goal: a seat during graduation held in a premier NYC venue, as in years past at MSG.  Never forget that your dreams and experiences are an essential part of ASA’s inspiring and diverse community. Our New York faculty feel privileged to play a role in your educational journey.  All signs point to an incredible and productive summer semester.

For our new incoming students, ASA College is a place alive with a lot of energy, enthusiasm, and a standard of excellence second to none.  This is the beginning of your 15-month journey towards a brighter future.   Remember, you are not alone.  ASA is indeed a place with many opportunities and options.  ASA College has a vast number of resources (Tutoring, Library, Career Services) and a very talented faculty and staff who will help you succeed.  ASA is a place where you will learn the skills that will allow you to excel in the career you selected. If you are not sure of your goals or what discipline to take at this point, it is okay.  Do not let that stop you from continuing down your educational path. You can always change your mind and your degree at a later date. Ask questions, talk to your instructors, fellow students, your advisor, your Provost, or even your College President.  Do not let a single question go unanswered. We embark on this summer semester with a pledge to all of you: this will be a semester of engaging, meaningful, and rigorous work in our virtual classrooms. Our staff of highly qualified professional educators and support personnel are committed to providing you with all of the resources you need, both inside and outside of the virtual classrooms.
