ASA College is Pleased to Host The Sunflower Language Center Education CollectionSunflower Language Center offers a series of educational lectures on history and language by Prof. Alexander Militarev. Each lecture is hosted at ASA College in Manhattan, close to most subway lines and Penn Station. The series is open to public; everyone is welcome to attend. The “Jewish puzzle” in World History

Every Sunday, starting January 24th
3:00pm to 4:30pm.Can one search for and discuss Jewish or any other “national idea” without ideological prejudice and political passion?

Deep Into Biblical Scripture.

Every Sunday,starting January 24th
5:00pm to 6:30pm.
Reading the Jewish Bible (TaNaKh, Old Testament) with commentary (need at least basic reading skills in Hebrew).

Happy Purim

Happy Purim Jewish people around the world celebrate the Festival of Purim today to honor the survival of the Jewish people under ancient Persian rule. Purim is one of the most entertaining Jewish holidays and has a carnival-like atmosphere. The celebrations start this evening and end in the evening tomorrow.
