DR. OSCAR ODOM, III, EARNS COVETED DOCTORATE DEGREE

Congratulations Dr. Odom!

ASA College proudly congratulates our head of Criminal Justice studies, Oscar Odom, III on the successful completion of his degree of DOCTOR OF EDUCATION (Ed.D.), Educational Leadership and Management.

Dr. Odom has led the Criminal Justice Division at ASA College for over 6 years previously serving as First Deputy Sheriff with the New York city Sheriff’s Department and a detective with the NYPD. His commitment to public service has led him to a Commissioner position on the New York Districting Commission and to work with the New York Tolerance Center where he focuses on current profiling issues and leadership in law enforcement. Dr. Odom has been a past keynote speaker for The Terrorist Information New York Group (TINYg) and is one of John Jay College’s 50 at 50 Alumni honorees.

Dr. Odom’s focus on professional experience and community service is the backbone of the ASA College Criminal Justice Degree program. His legacy can be seen in the hundreds of ASA Alumni who graduate from the New York City Police Academy and other advance degree programs.

“Free” vision screenings at University Eye Center

The University Eye Center is providing “free” vision screenings on the following dates: Monday March 1st from 1pm to 3pm Monday April 5 from 2pm to 4pm Monday May 24 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Thursday June 10 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Monday August 23 from 9:30am to 11:30am Tuesday September 14 from 4pm to 6pm Tuesday November 9 from 4:30pm to 6:30pm Please be advised that these are Vision Screenings not Eye Exams however, Infants under 18 months can have a complete eye exam done for free instead of a screening...
