News & Events

April 29, 2015 was a great day for ASA’s ESL Department. First time in ASA’s history the Department was conducting a professional development workshop not only for its Faculty but also for guests from different colleges of Big New York

ESL professors of our college were sharing experience with their colleagues from NYU, Hunter College, Touro College and St. John’s College. Guests were able to participate in discussion regarding new methodologies of teaching English as a Second Language.

Some other ESL Instructors were demonstrating their best techniques that they use in class.

It was exciting, it was educational, it was fun. Both ASA Faculty and guests were inspired by professionalism of their peers. After the workshop, ASA’s President Mr. A. Shchegol greeted both participants and visitors

ASA ESL Faculty is looking forward to new projects that will help to enhance students’ success and strengthen our College.
