ASA Transfer Fair- Wednesday
Brooklyn, NY—Former ASA offensive line coach, Lonnie Teasley, will be leaving his relatively short stint with the Avengers for a staff assistant position with the NFL’s Baltimore Ravens. Joining ASA this Winter, Teasley was expected to play a vital role on the staff with the o-line, considered one of the most important units of the Avenger offense.
Teasley arrived in Brooklyn after a year as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach at NCAA Division I Temple University.
Coach Teasley broke into the college coaching ranks in 2011 as an assistant coach in charge of the linebackers at NCAA FCS Delaware State University.
“We wish Coach Teasley the best of luck in the NFL,” congratulated ASA Head Coach,Chris Boden. “In the time that we worked together, it makes sense this opportunity would arise. He is a rising talent in the business.”
