STUDENT GOVERNMENT ELECTIONS SCHEDULED FOR THE WEEK OF JUNE 2!

You’re invited to Run for Office

Our Spring 2014 Student Organization Elections is less than a month away! Do you think you have what it takes to be a leader? In that case, we welcome you to run for office!

We invite qualified candidates to campaign for the following roles:

  • President
  • Vice President
  • Executive Secretary
  • Treasurer

To begin, download a copy of the Student Organization Election Guidelines and the Descriptions of Offices. Alternatively, you may stop by Student Affairs Office and pick up the complete nomination package which will need to be submitted before the deadline of May 12, 2014. The actual elections will be held during the week of June 2nd.

Nursing Students Test N95 Masks

Nursing Students Test N95 Masks Last week, students from the Nursing program participated in a fit testing for N95 masks. Due to the pandemic, our clinical partners have requested that our nursing students wear N95 respirator masks. A N95 mask filters out 95% of airborne particles which include bacteria and viruses. As frontline workers, the face-fitting mask worn must be tested to ensure accuracy of the fit.
