ASA COLLEGE BUSINESS DIVISION CHAIR, EDWARD KUFUOR, EARNS COVETED DOCTORATE DEGREE

Congratulations Dr. Kufuor!

ASA College proudly congratulates EDWARD KUFUOR on the successful completion of his degree of DOCTOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (DBA) IN ACCOUNTING.  Dr. Kufuor who hails from Ghana, began his career as an international student at Norfolk State University in Virginia, USA.  After graduation, he set his sights on Wall Street hoping to become a financial mogul but fate decreed otherwise. Coming to New York , he instead pursued graduate studies and earned his Masters of Business Administration in Finance at New York Institute of Technology.  The desire to help the marginalized population of the city prompted him to respond to the more noble calling of the  teaching profession and he landed jobs in higher education. After some years of successful classroom teaching in various business schools, Dr. Kufuor joined ASA College in 1995 as an adjunct instructor handling Accounting courses in the Business division where his hard work and dedication to his students earned him various accolades culminating in his appointment as CHAIR of the DIVISION OF BUSINESS-ACCOUNTING , a position he holds up to the present.

Dr. Kufuor has vowed to lead his faculty and staff to “work tirelessly to realize ASA’s mission of helping students to become responsible professionals.”   With him at the helm, ASA is proud and confident that he will make good his words.

To DR. EDWARD KUFUOR- Our best wishes for the future and our warmest congratulations for this truly inspiring achievement.
