ASA WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HEAD TO THE NATIONALS AGAIN!
The ASA College women’s basketball picked up the #18 seed in the upcoming NJCAA National Championships starting next week in Salina, KS. The Lady Avengers will take on #15 seeded New Mexico Junior College on Monday, 6:30 PM CDT.
ASA earned the spot at the national tournament after defeating Monroe CC in the District C championship this past Saturday. It is the second year in a row the Lady Avengers are making the trip to Salina. Last season ASA won their first game at Nationals before falling to the eventual third palce finisher, Hutchinson CC.
Under the tutelage of first year Head Coach, Thomas Davis, ASA will travel west with an 18-3 record. The abbreviated scheduled was due to the rough winter the entire Northeast experience.
