Brooklyn, NY—The ASA College football team will end the 2013 season ranked #7 nationally in the NJCAA post-season poll released yesterday. The back-to-back Northeast Football Conference and Carrier Dome Bowl champions finished the season with a 9-1 record (5-0 in the NEFC). The Avengers only loss came in their first game of the season to National Championship participant, #3 Georgia Military College.

All of ASA’s victories came by an average of more than four touchdowns. The Avengers boasted the nation’s best defense allowing only 208 yards per game and 9.1 points per game. ASA was also successful on the other side of the ball, finishing with the ninth best offense in the nation.

Only two other teams in the nation have had back-to-back top-seven finishes in the past two seasons.
