Adia Revell, Head Coach of our Women’s Basketball team, will be receiving a special honor from the WNBA’s New York Liberty during the team’s game on SATURDAY, AUGUST 10th at 1PM!
For those who may not be familiar, Coach Revell is one of ASA‘s original head coaches and has led the Women’s Basketball program since Athletics began in 2008.
We would love to have support from ASA at the game when Coach receives her recognition, and the Liberty have been gracious enough to give her 75 free tickets to give to those that wish to attend. Supporters from within ASA and outside (family, friends) are welcome to come!

The Liberty play their home games at the Prudential Center – 165 Mulberry St, Newark, NJ 07102. A map with directions via Google Maps can be found here: http://bit.ly/11N8Zqf. Prudential Center is easily accessible by the PATH train and NJ Transit trains from New York Penn Station. Any questions about the event or travel to the arena can be directed to Lamar Carter as well.

Pathways to Success with Assemblymember Walter Mosley Assemblymember Walter Mosley, a former standout collegiate athlete himself, will be giving a speech, “Student-Athletes: Pathways to Success,” at the Brooklyn campus, on Thursday, 11/21, at 6:00pm, in Room P-102 (383 Pearl Street, Brooklyn, New York 11201). Mr. Mosley was first elected in 2012 to represent the 57th Assembly District which includes the communities of Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Prospect Heights, and parts of Bedford Stuyvesant and Crown Heights.
