Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Examination Review Dates


Register online to attend the PTCB Examination Review.
To be a Certified Pharmacy Technician you MUST pass this mandatory exam. Students are urged to attend and take advantage of the classes in preparation for their exam.

The comprehensive three-day review session will cover pharmaceutical dosage calculation and pharmacology and will be held at 81 Willoughby St (Brooklyn Campus) from June 4-6, 2013.

Registration Deadline: June 3, 2013

Requirements for acceptance to review sessions:

  • The student has completed the Pharmacy Technician Program.
  • The student has registered for the PTCB Exam (at www.ptcb.org) and has scheduled an exam date.
  • The PTCB form with the scheduled exam date must be submitted to Dr. Yapvia email at jyap@asa.edu by June 3, 2013.

Nursing Students Test N95 Masks

Nursing Students Test N95 Masks Last week, students from the Nursing program participated in a fit testing for N95 masks. Due to the pandemic, our clinical partners have requested that our nursing students wear N95 respirator masks. A N95 mask filters out 95% of airborne particles which include bacteria and viruses. As frontline workers, the face-fitting mask worn must be tested to ensure accuracy of the fit.
