The Peers for Careers Club and JP Morgan Chase invite Active ASA College Students to an important and informative workshop on Protective Financial Management. With the increasing number of payment options available, identity theft is on the rise. Do not become a victim to this almost invisible crime. You will learn about:
Traditional and online banking basics
Online banking precautions
Establishing and managing credit
Credit protection and identity theft
Preventing identity theft
Actions to take if you are a victim of identity theft
Latest identity theft scams
The Financial Management 101 Workshop will present easy to implement guidelines to protect your credit score and a plan of action to use if your identity is stolen. Employers are checking credit scores more and more to access potential candidates — make sure you are prepared.
