Lecture of Assembly Member Joseph Lentol

New York State Assembly Member Joseph Lentol was invited to ASA College last Wednesday because he expressed a strong desire to share his insights and wisdom with our students who are majoring in Criminal Justice. Assembly member Lentol has served in the Assembly since 1972 and is the chairman of the Committee on Codes, which reviews and evaluates all criminal justice legislation in the state. The attendees had the opportunity to ask the assembly member questions and learn more about his recent legislative accomplishments, including reforms to the State of New York’s laws on discovery, bail, gun control, and youth detention.
