ASA MASSAGE THERAPY WELCOMES KATHERINE BOGER, LMT,
THURSDAY NOV. 6, 2014
New York State Licensed Massage Therapist Katherine Boger joined ASA College Massage Therapy students, along with Professors Anthony Chun and Martha Ma, to provide a unique perspective on life as a newly licensed professional and the demands placed on entry-level professionals.
She shared with our students her experience as an in demand Massage Therapist at Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon and the New York City luxury hotel Trump International. She also spoke of how her knowledge of massage and the human body has enhanced her work as a personal trainer, Certified CPR trainer, and Zumba instructor. There was an open forum for students to ask question at the end.
Ms. Boger encouraged student persistence, stating how it is well worth the effort to keep going even when the going gets tough, as there is a light at the end of the tunnel – your college degree, your New York State license, and your LMT career!
