ASA College Proud to Host Dr. Iglesias for Faculty Workshop

Always trying to find new and better ways to connect with our students, we have invited Dr. Iglesias aka Dr. Freeze to lead faculty and staff in a workshop geared towards cultural literacy and the student perspective. Dr. Iglesias’s research focuses on helping institutions appreciate the potential of every individual student.

Towards this end the workshop will familiarize participants with the culture of hip-hop, which resonates with many of our students. Participants will gain an understanding of how to apply this cultural knowledge in a way that empowers students and fosters deeper connections among us in the classroom setting.
