Legal Studies Club

legal studies club at ASA College

What is the Legal Studies Club?

The Legal Studies Club is designed to stimulate in our students an active interest in Criminal Justice and Legal affairs. The Legal Studies Club encourages members of the club to raise money for scholarships and for field trips. To recruit new members for the Legal Studies Club, we help acquaint students of ASA College with Criminal Justice and Legal standards. We provide our students and our staff with a high degree of Criminal Justice and Legal events.

Objective:

The main objective of ASA College Legal Studies Club is to educate members through hands-on experience and exploration of the Criminal Justice and Legal Field. This is done utilizing seminars, workshops, guest speakers, field trips, and community service.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the Legal Studies Club is to create an opportunity for students to learn about the criminal justice and Legal profession and those impacted by the criminal justice system. Congruent with the ASA tradition, the club emphasizes the importance of education to aid in the professional development of ASA College students through workshops on campus and by participating in the Legal Studies club activities each semester. Upholding another ASA value, the club aids those affected by the criminal justice system through numerous community service projects throughout the year. Finally, the Legal Studies Club holds a meeting each month offering ASA College students an opportunity for those with similar interests to meet and network.
