Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute and optimize paid marketing campaigns across Google and Bing, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, organization, and management
- Campaign set-up, keyword development, ad copy creation & testing, A/B testing, bid and budget management
- Analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns on a weekly/quarterly/yearly basis
- Using SEO strategies to increase website rankings, increase traffic and drive leads/conversions across multiple sites
- Identify trends and growth opportunities in core areas such as site infrastructure, keyword selection, or on-page/off page factors optimization
- Local/mobile/video SEO: best practices, management/implementation
- Analysis of SEO issues and help develop & implement actionable solutions based off findings
- Using schema markup to optimize website content for reach search results such as (related questions card, featured snippets, events, knowledge cards, knowledge panel, etc.)
- Collaborate with the in-house content specialist & design team to create and optimize content
- Proactively participating in cross-division planning and marketing strategy meetings
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, analytics, public relations or a related field
- Proven history of successful SEO and PPC strategy creation and implementation
- Minimum of two years of experience in SEO and PPC
- Prior work experience in the higher education field (preferred)
- Deep understanding of SEO and PPC best practices
- Analytical skills and the ability to translate data into useful insight
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Skilled in writing and editing content with attention to detail
- Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
- Team player who always learning and keeping up-to-date on new changes to search algorithms and strategies
- Proficiency with tools, MOZ, SEMrush, GTmetrix, Google Analytics, Google & Bing Webmaster tools, Microsoft office products.
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML
