ASA The College For Excellence celebrated Black History Month on February 24th, 2011. More than 100 people attended the annual celebration, which included performances by ASA students, readings and quizzes by ASA faculty and stuff, and a presentation prepared by the Fashion Club of ASA College. The screening of "Red Eye" and a Q&A session with Kevin Gordon, one of the producers of the movie, were the final events of the evening. The program, both educational and entertaining, was designed with a goal of fostering a better understanding of American history and honoring contributions of African-Americans to the U.S. culture and politics.
