ASA Students' Day

ASA's First Annual Students' Day

A new Cultural and Social Club of Russian speaking students was established January 25, 2013 as they declared the day ASA's Students' Day.  It was the revival of a tradition dating back to 1755, then known as Day of St. Tatiyana when the Empress of Russa Elizabeth had signed a decree on the establishment of the Moscow State University. This year, 2013, we decided to celebrate it as ASA Students’ Day.  Everyone interested were invited to partake in the celebration, discuss their accomplishments, and share their ideas as we celebrated the previous year’s successes as both individuals and as an academic community.
