Three ASA Football Signees Contribute in North-South Jersey All-Star Game

Kean University, NJ-------Last night three ASA football National Letter of Intent signees all made a difference in last night’s North-South Jersey Football All-Star game held at Kean University.

Korey Alston (Camden, NJ/Camden Catholic) of the South team made one of the first defensive plays at defensive back of the game with a strong tackle.  He would finish the game with four tackles and a heads-up fumble recovery.  Alston was joined on the South’s defense by fellow signee Aaron Fant (Delran, NJ/Holy Cross).  Fant was productive at linebacker, in on a couple of tackles.  ASA also boasted a defensive tackle for the North team in Rahjon Jones (Newark, NJ/Barringer H.S.).  Jones was a strong force on the line with 3 tackles including a sack.

There was a lot of excitement at the end where the North was inside 20-yard line with 3 chances to score.  However, the South prevailed in a defensive battle that ended 7-0.  Please follow the link below to read more about the game on NJ.com in which Rahjon Jones is mentioned.
