Sophomore cornerback, Andre Kates (District of Columbia/Surrattsville H.S.), will be playing in an All-American game sponsored by Triumphant Sports Saturday, December 12th. Kick-off will be at 4:15 EST. You will be able to watch Andre live on Triumphant Sports web-site as they broadcast the game on www.tsbowl.com. Andre will be wearing #2 and will be going up against the California team.

This season, Kates was a staple in the Avenger secondary. He helped the Avengers to a 6-3 record in its inaugural season as a program. Andre finished the season With 56 tackles (48 solo), 2 interceptions (1 he returned for a touchdown), 2 blocked kicks, and 2 fumble recoveries.
