Malcolm Eugene had 2 touchdowns in
the 27-7 win over FDU J.V.

Madison, NJ---Last night the ASA Football team took its fourth consecutive win by defeating Fairleigh Dickinson's J.V. 27-7. Steven Torres (Freshman/Yonkers, NY/Gorton) started at quarterback, playing three and a half quarters, passing 7-14 for 178 yards, including 3 touchdown passes. On ASA's second snap of the game, Torres went 45-yards to Malcolm Eugene (Freshman/Wide Receiver/Huntington, NY/Elwood-John Glenn). This led to a 2-yard touchdown by running back Tommy Anderson (Freshman/Brooklyn, NY/Erasmus Hall), who finished with 66 yards rushing on 8 carries.  Eugene led ASA with 99 yards receiving including 2 touchdowns. Freshman wide receiver, Brandon Brown (Newark, NJ/Freehold Boro) had 2 receptions for 59 yards, including a touchdown. The ASA defense established itself early and never had to look back. Keith Watson (Freshman/Defensive End/Brooklyn, NY/Erasmus Hall) finished with a solid evening of work, including 3 tackles, 2 sacks, and a fumble recovery. Shaun Kellman (Freshman/Defensive End/Bronx, NY/Truman) finished the game where Watson started with 2 fumble recoveries, assisting in causing both.

With the win, ASA improves to 4-2 on the regular season. The Avengers take the field again at Albright against the Albright J.V. on November 1st at 3pm.
