The Avengers continue their perfect 9-0 season as they handily defeated Alfred State 97-63 on Saturday night and Cougar Classic host, Genesee CC, Sunday night by the score of 68-48. In convincing fashion, ASA never trailed in either contest.

Against Alfred State, every ASA player on the team scored. Garel Craig (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) led all scorers with 21 points. He was immediately followed by Keenen Ellis (Indianapolis, IN/American Christian) with 20 points. Ellis added 4 blocks to his line along with 6 rebounds. Roberto Colonette (Queens, NY/RFK) chipped in 11 points to go along with his 8 rebounds.

ASA did not miss a step on the second day of the classic. Keenen Ellis and Garel Craig led ASA with 14 points a piece. Ellis again would own the paint on the defensive end racking up another 5 blocked shots. Craig also had a strong defensive performance recording 4 steals on the evening. Roberto Colonette would lead all rebounders with 15 to go along with his 8 points, 2 steals, and 1 blocked shot.

ASA takes the court again December 21st in a double header where they will host Globe at NYU-Poly Gymnasium. The Women's Basketball team will tip-off at 6pm, followed by the men.
