Men's Basketball Avenges First Loss Against Globe, 88-67

Valhalla, NY-Last night the men's basketball team avenged an earlier season 4-point loss against Globe to defeat them 88-67.  Globe would take a very early 3-2 lead to start the game after the first three possessions of the game, but it would be their last for the remainder.  ASA was able to jump out to a 40-30 half-time.  ASA would not look back and cap off the evening with a 21-point victory.

ASA'S Keenen Ellis (Indianapolis, IN/American Christian) led all scorers with 21 points.  He also added 12 rebounds for the double-double, 7 blocks, and multiple highlight dunks.  Garel Craig (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack) added 19 points and 8 assists for the Avengers.  Roberto Colonette (Queens, NY/RFK) rounded out the scoring attack with 17 points to go along with his 8 rebounds and blocked shots.

With the win, ASA improves to 12-2 on the season and 2-1 in Division I Region XV play.  Next up for ASA: Lackawanna College on January 12th at St. Francis College.Tip-Off will be at 8pm.
