In a late addition to the regular season schedule, the men's basketball team defeated Kingsborough CC, the only other Junior College basketball team in Brooklyn, by the score of 100-69. The team was led by sophomore guard, Garel Craig (Hackensack, NJ/Hackensack), who led all scorers with 24 points. Craig started the game on a tear, scoring 16 of his points in the first half. Keenen Ellis (Indianapolis, IN) continued his well-rounded season with 14 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots. Crafty point guard, Tyrone Cooke (Brooklyn, NY/Madison), managed 14 points to go along with his 4 assists.

The Avengers keep their record unblemished at 10-0 with the win.

Next Up: Globe @ NYU-Polytechnic Gymnasium on Monday, December 21st. The men's basketball game is the second part of a double-header with the Lady Avengers.The women's team will tip-off at 6pm, followed by the men at 8pm.
