ASA Institute, now on its 23rd year, congratulates close to a thousand graduates who will be honored in this year’s annual graduation ceremony to be held at the WAMU Theater of Madison Square Garden on Thursday, July 24, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. An estimated 5,000 people are expected to attend this event including the graduates’ relatives and friends. Special guests include a large number of government and elected officials, community leaders, representatives from foreign embassies and consulates, employers of ASA graduates, and the media. ASA is also very proud to announce that this year’s keynote address speaker is the Honorable Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes. “We have specifically chosen a truly special and world-class venue in Madison Square Garden because we want to highlight the importance of what our graduates have accomplished for themselves and their families,” Alex Shchegol, President of ASA said. As always, the highlight of the ceremony will be the conferring of degrees to the graduates which will culminate with the awarding of their diplomas. At the same time, academic excellence awards will also be given to several exceptional graduates. Founded in 1985 with a class of only 12 students, ASA has experienced tremendous growth because of its curriculum’s responsiveness to the needs of employers. ASA now has over 3,000 students at both its Brooklyn and Midtown Manhattan locations. ASA offers Associate Degrees in Allied Health, Business Administration-Accounting, Criminal Justice, and Computer Network Administration which students can complete in just 16 months. ********** Click here for the Photo Gallery from our 2007 Commencement Exercises at Madison Square Garden. |
