ASA Football Releases 2009 Season Schedule

Brooklyn, NY------ The ASA Institute Football has released its schedulefor the inaugural 2009 season. The teamwill open up its first season of competition away against prep-schoolpowerhouse, Milford Academy, on August 22nd  at 1pm.On August 27th, ASA will travel across the Verrazano Bridgeto Staten Island to battle Wagner J.V.During the season, the team will also play non-National Junior CollegeAthletic Association (NJCAA) members SUNY Maritime (NCAA Division III), DelawareValley J.V., and Albright J.V.

The team gets into the bread and butter of their season on September 5thwhen they travel up to Troy, NY to play against NJCAA member, Hudson Valley CC. The Avengers will face probably theirtoughest challenge against Dean College (MA) on September 17th. Dean finished the 2008 season ranked 10thin the nation by ESPN. The schedule isrounded up with local power, Nassau Community College, on November 15that Nassau.

The ASA coaching staff is very excited about the first season of ASAfootball. They look forward to beingvery competitive in only the program’s first year of existence.
