Cecil County, MD--- ASA fought off a pesky Lackawanna team this afternoon for their sixth straight victory. The Avengers held on for the 93-88 win.

ASA was paced by freshman Mike McLeod’s (Newburgh, NY)[pictured] 18 points and 8 rebounds. Freshman guard Daquan Brickhouse (Peekskill, NY) added 16 points and 8 assists. Freshmen guards Rysheen Dorn (Philadelphia, PA) and Dayvon Whitaker (Poughkeepsie NY) each dropped in 14 points apiece. Whitaker was also very active on the defensive end coming up with 5 steals.

ASA forced 26 Lackawanna turnovers, making a big impact on the outcome of the game.

ASA improves to 9-3 on the season and will play their 4th game in 5 days tomorrow as they travel to Ulster CC. Tipoff is scheduled for 1pm.
