Brooklyn, NY --- The Avengers will be playing for first place in the Northeast Football Conference standings as they take the field away against undefeated in the conference Dean (2-0). A win on Saturday will improve ASA to 2-0 in the conference and if Nassau defeats Hudson Valley, in a two-way tie for first place with conference rival, Nassau.

ASA will look to shut down Dean with their #1 ranked defense in the conference, allowing only 103.7 total offensive yards per contest. Dean currently has the third best passing offense in the conference averaging 147.5 yards per game with the throw.

The game will be played on Dean’s home turf at Longley Field in Franklin, MA on Saturday, October 8th. Kickoff is scheduled for noon. The Avengers will return home at Old Boys High Field next Saturday, October 15th, where they will host conference opponent, Lackawanna. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
