New Rochelle, NY -- The Avengers drop their second match in a row tonight at regional rival, #7 Monroe. ASA showed plenty of grit through a physical match. Monroe would score the winning goal late in the first half. ASA would pick up the pace and pressure in the second half. In the 85th minute, took a great shot to tie the match, unfortunately Monroe's goalie would make an amazing save leading to a late insurance goal.

ASA had great play from their backs including freshman Eric Rosales (Sterling, VA)[pictured] who made many gutsy plays to keep ASA in the majority of the match.

ASA takes the pitch again on Saturday, September 24th, at Met Oval Field in Queens, NY. It will be an ASA home match and the entire ASA community is encouraged to come out and support the team. Kickoff is scheduled for 11am.
