Pemberton, NJ --- The men’s soccer team falls to 1-1 on the season with this afternoon’s loss to Burlington. The Avengers kept the Barons scoreless through the first half, both of their scores coming in the second forty-five minutes of the match.

Justin Stapleton (St. Vincent)[pictured] scored ASA’s lone goal on an assist from Dorado Phipps (St. Andrew, Jamaica). In two matches Phipps has already racked up four points with a goal and two assists.

The Avengers take to the pitch again this Wednesday, September 21st. They will take on Region XV rival Monroe in New Rochelle at Flowers (City) Park. Kickoff is scheduled for 6pm. All ASA students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to attend and support the Avengers.
