Louisville, KY -- Last night, former ASA defensive standout, Kevin Robinson, fared well in his debut as a Murray State Racer last night against Division I-A Louisville on ESPNU. Despite the 21-9 loss, the story of the game was how tough the Murray State defense was, the unit that Kevin is a part of. Robinson recorded a solo tackle and half way through the second half he recovered a fumble at the Louisville 34-yard line. He also put pressure on the Louisville quarterback which led to a Murray State interception.

Kevin was an All-Conference performer at ASA and led the Northeast Football Conference in sacks with ten last season. He accepted an athletic scholarship from Murray State in the winter of 2011. Murray State will take the field again at Mississippi Valley State on September 10th.
