Men’s Basketball: New Signee Featured on NJHoops.com July 5, 2011 Newark, NJ----- This past weekend, incoming guard, David Burgos, was featured on NJHoops.com, a subsidiary of Rivals, one of the most respected online recruiting magazines in the nation. Below is the article on David released by NJHoops. ![]() NJ Hoops Burgos Makes Pick July 3, 2011 - Paterson Eastside recent grad David Burgos has made his college plans. The true point guard has signed to play for ASA Junior College in New York Burgos spent only one year in NJ but he made it a memorable one. Burgos transferred to Paterson Eastside this season and went on to lead the Ghosts to the Group 4 state title. Eastside finished 21-9 and ranked 17th in the state by NJ Hoops. He averaged 17 ppg, 7 apg, 5 rpg and 2 spg. He was named Bergen Record North Jersey Player of the Year. He was selected to NJ Hoops All Passaic County Team and NJ Hoops All State 3rd Team. He had one of the highest games in the state tournament, scoring 25 points in a 68-51 win over Paterson Kennedy. He was ranked among NJ Hoops top 30 in the Class of 2011.
