Men’s Soccer: 2011 Schedule Released

Brooklyn, NY---- The ASA men’s soccer program has released its 2011 season schedule. The team will open their second season with three away games starting with Rhode Island on September 10th at 2:30 p.m. The Avengers will then travel to Vermont for their Burlington College opponent which begins on the 17th of September at 1pm. The Avengers face Region XV rival, Monroe College, at SUNY Purchase on September 21st. ASA will then look to continue to dominate as they host Globe on September 24th at 4 p.m. On September 28th the Avengers head to Long Island to take on Nassau for an evening game. The Avengers will then face Globe again on October 5th and on the 11th ASA will meet junior college power Mercer Community College in New Jersey. ASA will then try to avenge last year’s defeat when they play Dutchess on October 16th. On October 22nd at 2pm, ASA will compete against Essex College in Newark, NJ. The Avengers will play two home games this season. ASA will look to improve their 4-7-2 record from last year under second-year head coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
