ASA tackle is taking trip April 13, 2011 Cammock will visit New Mexico this weekend ASA offensive tackle Deon Cammock is a mountain of a man and if he had another year of eligibility, would likely be on a lot more lists. Cammock will be set to transfer after the spring semester with two years left to play and has a visit to New Mexico this weekend after another visit two weeks ago. "I have a visit set to New Mexico this weekend," Cammock said. "I went to Bethune Cookman the weekend before last." Cammock is 6-foot-6, 315 pounds and strong with a reported bench press in the 375-pound range. He says he just wants another chance to play and go to school. "I just want to go to the best opportunity possible," Cammock said. "Somewhere where I can get an education." Cammock graduated from Northwestern High School (MD) in 2008 and immediately redshirted at Lackawanna College (PA). He then sat out a season before playing for ASA in 2010. Cammock says one more visit could be in the works. "In the next couple of weeks I should be going to South Carolina State," Cammock said. Cammock has an offer from Bethune Cookman and says New Mexico could be in the works. "They said we would talk about it when I get there," Cammock said. |
