Tennis: Both Men's and Women's Team Begin National Dual Match Tournament

Baytown, TX - The men's and women's tennis teams officially opened up their 2011 spring season at the National Dual Match tournament today. The event will run from March 24-26th.

The men's team made history today by competing in their first ever tournament. Unfortunately, they lost their match to National Champion, Laredo CC. However, the team showed a lot of promising signs of becoming nationally recognized.

The women's team was able to pull out their match against Seminole State (Oklahoma) by the score of 5-4. The win was sealed by the #1 singles victory of freshman Lyudmyla Lisovska (Toronto, Canada)[Pictured].
