Men’s Basketball: Avengers Close Out Regular Season with Win Over Manhattan CC

Brooklyn, NY--- ASA made two big runs late in the half and then again mid-way through the second half of tonight’s game to defeat the Borough of Manhattan Community convincingly 93-66. The Avengers end the 2010-11 regular season with a 16-6 overall record.

The Avengers were led by freshman point guard Sa’Quan Davis’, Pictured, (Washington, D.C.) twenty points including 2-3 shooting from behind the arc. Keenan Belle (Brooklyn, NY) came up big off of the bench with eighteen points including a couple of highlight dunks.

ASA outrebounded BMCC 53-34. As a team, ASA shot 51% as a team to BMCC’s 35%.

The Avengers are off until the Region XV- Division I Tournament being held at Hostos Community College. The #2 seeded Avengers will be taking on #3 Harcum College on Saturday, February 26th at 5pm.
