Men’s Basketball: Allan Thomas and Sa’Quan Davis Named to All-Region First Team

Valhalla, NY----- The Region XV- Division I All-Region Teams were announce today and the Avengers were well-represented on the First Team. Sophomore guard Allan Thomas (Queens, NY) and freshman lead guard Sa’Quan Davis (Washington D.C.) were named to the All-Region First team.

Allan Thomas, a transfer from TCI, finished the 2010-11 regular season as ASA’s leading scoring and ranked third in scoring in the region. Playing in all of ASA’s 22 games, Thomas averaged 15.1ppg. He scored a season-high 27 points at Harcum College back on November 30, 2011. Thomas shot a respectable 53% from the field and 42% from beyond the arc.

Only a freshman, Sa’Quan Davis has another year to become one of the ASA basketball all-time greats. Davis ended the 2010-11 regular season as ASA’s second leading scorer at 11.5ppg. Davis reached twenty points three times this season. He also finished tied for first on the team with 30 three-point field goal makes. Davis led the Avengers in assists averaging 5.5 per game. As a freshman, Davis played in all 22 games, clocking over 32 minutes per game.
