Men’s Basketball: ASA Rolls at Dutchess; Coach Wilcox picks up 200th Career Win

Poughkeepsie, NY----- The Avengers rolled to victory over Dutchess this afternoon 98-52. ASA improves to 13-6 with win.

Sophomore guard Allan Thomas (Queens, NY) led the way for the Avengers with twenty points. Sophomore guard Juanito Moises (Bronx, NY) added fourteen points. Five other Avengers scored in double digits. ASA shot 10-12 from the free throw line on the afternoon.

The headline of the day would be head coach Ken Wilcox’s 200th career win. Coach Wilcox is in his third season as head coach of the Avengers. Prior to ASA, Wilcox posted an impressive 151-53 record at Globe after ten years of service.

The Avengers take the floor again on Monday, February 14th in Irvington, New Jersey as they take on an always talented NIA Prep team. Tip-ff is slated for 7:30pm.
