Men's Basketball: Avengers Drop First Loss of the Season to Harcum (PA), 117-108

Bryn Mawr, PA----- The ASA men's basketball team lost their first game of the season at Harcum this evening, 117-108. The loss drops the Avengers down to 6-1 on the season.

The up-and-down contest was high scoring from the start with Harcum taking the 58-44 half-time lead. ASA would battle back, cutting the lead to single digits for the better part of the second half. However, Harcum would hit all of their free throws down the stretch in order to seal the victory.

Sophomore guard, Allan Thomas(Queens, NY), led all scorers with 27 points on 12-20 shooting. Thomas also added five rebounds and three assists to his line. Freshman lead guard, Sa'Quan Davis(Washington D.C.), added twenty points, seven assists, and three steals. Freshman guard,Jamal Francis (Brooklyn, NY), chipped seventeen points and sophomore guard, Juanito Moises (New York, NY), and sophomore forward, Keenan Belle(Brooklyn, NY), both poured in fifteen for the Avengers.
