Men’s Basketball: Avengers Dismount Black Knights 77-73; Remain Undefeated

Westpoint, NY----- ASA remains undefeated at 6-0 defeating Army JV this afternoon 77-73. The Avengers withstood a number of pushes during the contest against a tough Black Knight squad.

Sophomore guard, Allan Thomas (Queens, NY) led ASA in scoring with an ASA career-high 24 points. Thomas was 7-9 from the field and 7-8 from the foul-line. Sophomore guard, Juanito Moises (New York, NY), added eleven points and six rebounds for ASA. Sophomore forward, Keenan Belle (Brooklyn, NY), and freshman guard, Omar St.-John (Queens, NY), both chipped in nine for the undefeated Avengers.

After a little over a week off, the Avengers will face its biggest NJCAA test thus far against fellow Division I member, Harcum College (PA). The game is scheduled for November 30th at Harcum. Tip-off is slated for 7pm.
