The Avengers had a well-balanced scoring attack in order to pull out the victory. The team’s stingy defense in the second half would secure the win. Four Avengers scored in double-digits and two others would finish the game with nine points apiece to end the contest. Freshman guard, Omar St.-John (Queens, NY) [Pictured Left], and sophomore guard, Juanito Moises (New York, NY)[Pictured Right] would share leading scorer honors with eleven apiece. Moises would also lead the team in rebounds, snatching down six on the afternoon. Freshman lead guard, Sa'Quan Davis (Washington D.C.) and freshman shooting guard, Mickey Davis (Syracuse, NY) added ten each for the Avengers. The Avengers will continue their road trip as they take on Montgomery-Rockville in Maryland. |
