Football: Two Defensive Standouts Recognized by JCGridiron. July 6, 2010  Sophomore Safety- Ivan Nicholas Brooklyn, NY--- Recently, two members of the ASA football team were featured in articles on the well-respected junior college football website, JCGridiron.com. Rising sophomore nose tackle, Gilbert Pena (Yonkers, NY/Saunders H.S.), earned a feature article on the site explaining his potential and the interest he has already received from 4-year universities. Pena is joined by rising sophomore safety, Ivan Nicholas (Jacksonville, FL/Robert E. Lee H.S.). Nicholas was mentioned as one of the top safeties in the nation to look out for this season.
