Learning Center![]() ![]() The Learning Center: A Wealth of Resources The Learning Center provide programs and services to help you prepare for classes and improve your knowledge and understanding of coursework. It's the place to come for advice, support and encouragement. You can study independently in these centers with easy access to peer and professional tutors. The tutoring program plays an important role in ASA's strategy for preparing students for employment. Tutoring is available by appointment or on a walk-in basis and is done by faculty members, assistants, and specially trained, work-study peer counselors. Test Preparation Review sessions are also available for some courses prior to major exams. There is no group size limit. Students may come to the Learning Center to request a review session at least 3 weeks prior to the exam. Free small-group tutoring is available by request for some courses. Small-group consists of three or more students in the same course with the same instructor. Tutors help students work together to master course content.
