Government and Community Relations

It has always been ASA College's vision to provide college education to the historically underrepresented population.  This came to fruition when ASA was awarded with degree-granting powers.

True to its mission, the college continues to offer educational services to a large number of communities in New York. Through collaboration with representatives from various ethnic communities, ASA provides help in such areas as preparation for the citizenship exam, ESL (English as a Second Language) training, computer and information literacy workshops, job readiness seminars and various other workshopsdesigned to help many people make the next desirable step in their lives.
