Become Part of the ASA Athletics Program Today!

Students can compete in intercollegiate athletics while attending the college as full-time students. ASA offers six intercollegiate programs as a Division I member of the National Junior College Association (NJCAA). The teams ASA currently offers are the following: Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, Baseball, and Women’s Tennis.

In addition to intercollegiate sports, ASA sponsors an extensive intramural program which has had participation in sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading/dance, and tennis. The great aspect about ASA intramurals is that if there is a sport that you want to play, the program will sponsor that particular sport. Please click here to learn more about our intramural program.

College athletics builds self-esteem, school and community spirit, and can garner regional and national recognition. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. You can contact the athletic department at 718-522-9073 or via e-mail athletics@asa.edu.
