Students at ASA College can compete in intercollegiate athletics while enrolled as full-time students. ASA offers ten intercollegiate programs as a Division I member of the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA). ASA currently competes in the following sports: Football, Men’s & Women’s Basketball, Men’s Soccer, Baseball, Men's & Women’s Tennis, Men's Lacrosse and Men's & Women's Track & Field.

In addition to intercollegiate sports, ASA sponsors an extensive intramural program which has offered participation in sports such as basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, cheerleading/dance, and tennis. The greatest aspect of ASA intramurals is that if there is a sport a student wants to play, the program will sponsor that particular sport. Please contact Coach Hill (coachhill@asa.edu) to learn more about our intramural program.

College athletics build self-esteem, school & community spirit, and can lead to regional & national recognition. Scholarships are available for those who qualify. You can contact the athletic department at 718-522-9073 or via e-mail at athletics@asa.edu.
