She is also a National Certified Counselor and working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor. In addition, Ms. Lopez has received certification in Trauma Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and in Person-Centered Planning. In order to add to her professional development she is a member of Chi Sigma Iota - the National Counseling Honor Society, the American Counseling Association and its separate division, the American College Counseling Association. |

He has a Master of Science in Education degree from City University of New York, Queens College. In addition he is certified to provide Bilingual counseling in Spanish. His nine years of work experience in social service have exposed him to career advising, life skills coaching and school counseling. Mr. Matthews also co-hosts a counseling podcast for parents with children K-12 called The ABC’s of Parenting. He is a member of the New York State School Counseling Association and the American School Counselor Association. |
